Loneliness is as lethal as smoking 15 cigarettes a day and more lethal than obesity!
One of the aims of the social promotion association Meglio per Tutti APS is to facilitate the resocialization of elderly people.
We pursue this goal with the “Villa Arzilla” project, which consists of creating a multipurpose center for seniors who, having been less fortunate during their productive life, find themselves economically unable to sustain a life that is both autonomous and socially fulfilling.
In other words, seniors who are forced into loneliness because they live in hardship could find a space where they can live together.
How to support the project
To finance this project, we have thought of reaching out to two categories of people who, living their golden years in affluence, feel the desire to let less fortunate people benefit from a less problematic old age:
- Those who have no heirs for their estate.
- Those who have managed to guarantee their loved ones a secure future, even without taking their inheritance into account.
These fortunate individuals can make a donation or a testamentary bequest for when they no longer need their assets in favor of the “Villa Arzilla” project of the social promotion association Meglio per Tutti APS.
Testamentary Bequest
A testamentary bequest can be made simply by writing a holographic will (i.e., in one’s own handwriting) and delivering it to a trusted person, or even to the social promotion association Meglio per Tutti APS; they will take care of it when the time comes. Alternatively, one can contact a Notary to draw up a public will or to deliver a secret one.
Life Donations
Those who wish to make a donation during their lifetime can do so by contacting a Notary or, for donations of modest value, even without a Notary, by contacting the social promotion association Meglio per Tutti APS to make the necessary arrangements.
Transparency and Guarantees
The law obliges the social promotion association Meglio per Tutti APS to use what is received, as well as all its assets, solely for the social purposes for which it was created. In the event of dissolution, it must devolve such assets to other entities with similar purposes. This guarantees the social purpose of what is received.
The social promotion association Meglio per Tutti APS is also required by law to publish an annual financial report, as a guarantee of its transparency.
